FOOD REBATE PROGRAM
Pavilion sponsors may submit their receipts for food purchase to OTANS & receive the value of those receipts (up to $500) as a donation to Feed Nova Scotia, or as cash back. All receipts due June 17, 2008 at OTANS.
PAVILION PATRON DETAILS:
CATERING
Pavilion patrons will be responsible for providing food in their pavilion. The food must be appropriate (example: sandwich, hot dogs, hors d’oeuvres, etc) and reviewed by the picnic committee. Pavilion patrons are encouraged to use the official caterer or provide the food themselves. Pavilions are to be staffed by the patron.
MOVING ON/OFF GEORGES ISLAND
The task of moving large amounts of equipment to the island is a difficult one. An additional set up day has been added for the scheduled pavilion patrons on Thursday, June 12, 2008.
We provide limited assistance to load in and out. Pavilion patrons are responsible for providing their own labour. We ask that items brought to the island be of a reasonable size and weight and well packaged.
TECHNICAL SERVICES
Patrons will be provided with a limited electrical capacity if it is required for their pavilion. All electricity will be supplied by generators.
PAVILION LOCATION
The 2007 pavilion patrons have the first opportunity to reserve similar space before March 3, 2008 (some space may vary due to revised site plan). New patrons will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, after March 3, 2008. All special requests will be taken into consideration. We reserve the right to assign or change pavilion locations for sponsors as deemed appropriate for the overall success of this event.
